AUGUSTA, Ga. --
With the most wins in half a decade already under its belt, the Augusta State volleyball program closes out is 2007 home schedule this weekend with a pair of matches.
The Jaguars (15-15, 2-5 PBC), who have already matched the most wins for the program since the 2002 season, take on Peach Belt Conference foe Armstrong Atlantic State tonight at 7:00 p.m. and host St. Andrews in a non-conference match tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The Jags are looking for the season sweep of the Pirates after blanking AASU 3-0 on Sept. 19 in Savannah. ASU has not faced St. Andrews this season.
ASU sophomore middle blocker Jessica Howard is the reigning PBC Player-of-the-Week. She booked a season-high 25 kills and .615 hitting percentage in Wednesday’s 3-0 victory over Francis Marion.
