Howard Honored By PBC
ASU junior named to PBC All-Conference team

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State’s Jessica Howard was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference team at the PBC volleyball awards banquet on the eve of the conference tournament in Pembroke, N.C.

Howard, a junior middle blocker, led the Jaguars in hitting percentage, kills and blocks. Howard booked nine matches with 15 plus kills and averaged a .326 hitting percentage for the regular season. Howard also leads the PBC in kills and blocks.

The Jaguars begin play in the PBC volleyball championships at 1:00 p.m., when they take on USC Aiken. All matches will be played in the English Jones Center in Pembroke, N.C. Below is the 2008 volleyball All-Conference team as selected by the league’s head coaches.
