ANDERSON, S.C. - Augusta State opened the 2010 season Friday by splitting a pair of matches in the AU Invitational on the campus of Anderson University.

The Jaguars topped Mount Olive 3-1 (25-21, 24-26, 25-16, 25-17) before falling 3-0 to Lincoln Memorial (19-25, 5-25, 23-25). No other details were available.

ASU (1-1) takes on host Anderson Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., and wraps up play in the tourney with a 1:00 p.m., matchup with Newberry.

The Jags-Trojans match at 9:00 a.m., will be available online in a live webcast stream at www.autrojans.com.
