AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State Women’s Basketball will be hosting a WBCA Pink Zone day when the Lady Jaguars take on North Georgia College and State for Homecoming on Saturday, Feb. 21.

The WBCA Pink Zone is a global event that is put on by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) in efforts to raise breast cancer awareness around the nation.

The Lady Jaguars will be honoring local Augusta breast cancer groups, The Pink Magnolias and Journey of Hope at Saturday’s game.

ASU encourages fans to wear pink in honor of this event and all donations raised will be given to the local groups in Augusta and the Kay Yow Fund.

The Peach Belt Conference matchup between ASU and NGCSU begins at 4:00 p.m., in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
