AUGUSTA,
Ga. - Augusta State head women’s basketball coach Nate Teymer has finalized his initial recruiting class.
Teymer (pronounced TEE-mer), who was appointed the eighth head coach in program history on April 1, announced his eight-player signing class on Tuesday.
“I am very excited about this recruiting class. We’ve got a nice mix of freshmen and transfers,” Teymer said. “One thing that stands out is our versatility. We have several players who can play different positions. If we can blend these newcomers with our nucleus of returnees, I feel like this can be the group to get the ASU women’s basketball program moving back in the right direction.”
