AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Pinehurst Challenge,
originally slated for March 2-3 at Pinehurst No. 6, in
Pinehurst, N.C., was cancelled due to inclement weather. The
Augusta State women's golf team, as well as 19 other teams,
was scheduled to participate in the two-day, 36-hole event.
Tournament officials were forced to make the decision
to cancel the event after snow and ice blanketed the

the course would not be playable on Monday, March 2 with
