ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Augusta State finished
seventh Sunday in the season-opening Wolverine
Invitational at University of Michigan Golf Course.
With four new starters making their ASU debut this
weekend, the Lady Jaguars opened the tourney with rounds
of 303 and 305 Saturday for a 36-hole total of 40-over
608 and entered the final round in second place. On
Sunday, ASU combined for a team total of 319.
Sophomore Natalie Wille paced the Lady Jags with a
final-round, 3-over 74 and improved from 12th place into
a tie for third at 12-over 225 (75-76-74).

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State women’s golf
coach Kevin McPherson announced Friday that Casey
Kennedy has signed a grant-in-aid to join the Lady
Jaguar golf team.
Kennedy, from Cape May, N.J., spent her freshman season
as a member of the Auburn University women’s golf team.
She redshirted during the 2009-10 season and will have
four years eligibility remaining for the Lady Jags.

Duschek-Hansen latest addition to ASU

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State women’s golf
coach Kevin McPherson announced his third addition to
the Spring, 2010 recruiting class Friday.
Christine Duschek-Hansen of Vejle, Denmark has signed a
national letter-of-intent and agreed to join the Lady
Jaguar program for the Fall, 2010 semester.
Duschek-Hansen was ranked No. 3 in the Danish national
junior rankings in 2008 and No. 9 in the overall
national women’s rankings. She captured four tournament
titles and posted four other top-five finishes.
