WALLACE, N.C. -- Augusta State posted a two-round total of 620 Monday in the ninth UNCW Lady Seahawk Classic at River Landing Golf Club

Freshman Julia Stalbro paced the Lady Jaguars with a pair of four-over 76’s and is tied for 13th at eight-over 152. Senior Emilie Geury is a shot back at nine-over 153 (78-75) and is tied for 17th. Senior Mary Betancourt and junior Tamara Luccioli are tied for 40th while junior Sarah Mooney is tied for 54th. Senior Anna Lindeborg, competing as an individual, is tied for 66th.

Playing in near-ideal conditions, East Carolina combined for a 598 and grabbed a two-shot lead over Elon and a five-shot advantage over East Tennessee State and UNC Wilmington. James Madison rounds out the top five, four shots clear of ASU.

Elon’s Danielle Mills carded a four-under 68 and moved out to a five-shot lead over Amy Otteson of East Carolina. UNC Wilmington’s Ashley Tait is third, six shots back, while Carmen Perez-Narbon is fourth, eight shots back of leader Mills.

The final round of the 54-hole event gets under way Tuesday with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
