GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Augusta State Lady Jaguars managed a 26-over 310 Sunday in the first round of the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic at Starmount Forest Country Club

The Lady Jaguars are in 10th place in the 15-team field heading into Monday’s second round.

Senior Mary Carmen Betancourt paced ASU with a four-over 74 and is tied for 10th place. Anna Lindeborg and Tamara Luccioli are tied for 36th after a pair of 78’s while Sarah Mooney and Emilie Geury are tied for 54th after a pair of 80’s.

East Carolina sported an 11-over 295 to grab the team lead and are shots clear of host UNC Greensboro. UNC Wilmington, Georgia State, South Florida and East Tennessee State round out the top five.

ECU’s Abby Bools tallied a three-under 68 to take a four-shot lead over teammate Ana Maria Puche and Georgia State’s Anna Scott.
