The Augusta State Lady Jaguars shot a 313 Monday in the second round of the UNCG Starmount Fall Classic at Starmount Forest Country Club
The Lady Jaguars are tied for 10th place at 623 (310-313) in the 15-team field heading into Tuesday’s third and final round.
Senior Mary Carmen Betancourt again paced ASU with a four-over 75 and is tied for 11th place. Anna Lindeborg and Emily Geury signed for a 76 and 79, respectively, in the second round, while Sarah Mooney had an 83 and Tamara Luccioli settled for an 84.
Host UNC Greensboro moved in front of first-round leader East Carolina with a nine-over 293 and owns a two-shot lead over ECU. UNC Wilmington is a stroke back of the Lady Pirates, while Georgia State and Florida International round out the top five.
ECU’s Abby Bools maintained her individual lead and owns a three-shot advantage over UNCG’s Annelie Weimenhog and Ashley Parrott as well as UNC Wilmington’s Ashley Tait and Illinois State’s Stacey Miller.
