Second Round Washed Out
Season-opening event for Lady Jags reduced to 36 holes

LEXINGTON, KY. -- The second round of the Bettie Lou Evans Fall Invitational was postponed Saturday at the University Club of Kentucky.

Tournament officials announced the event will be reduced to 36 holes, with the second and final round to be played Sunday. The Arthur Hills-designed University Club has been recently inundated by inclement weather, with Saturday’s rain making the course unplayable.

The tourney is the season opener for the Lady Jaguars, who are beginning their second season under head coach Kevin McPherson.

ASU is slated to be paired with Florida International and Kennesaw State on Sunday, beginning with an 8:30 a.m., shotgun start.

Live scoring and full-field results are available at both www.golfstat.com  and www.aug.edu/athletics  -- the official website of ASU Athletics.
