ASU Pulls Into Ninth In Macon
Hage paces Lady Jaguars with 77, Luccioli team-best 26th

MACON, Ga. -- The Augusta State women’s golf team combined for a 313 Monday in the second and final round of the Eat A Peach Collegiate at Idle Hour Club.

Led by freshman Jordyn Hage’s team-best 77, the Lady Jaguars moved up one spot and finished in ninth place. Senior Tamara Luccioli turned in ASU’s best finish, tying for 26th at 10-over 154 (76-78). Hage was two strokes behind, tying for 33rd at 12-over 156 (79-77).

Sophomore Julia Stalbro signed for an 80 and tied for 44th at 15-over 159 (79-80) and freshman Natalie Wille tied for 46th at 16-over 160 (82-78). Senior Sarah Mooney was 53rd after an 85 gave her a two-round total of 20-over 164.

Ninth-ranked Georgia overtook No. 19 Florida State and edged FSU and Furman by a shot for the team title. Coastal Carolina and Georgia State rounded out the top five.

Georgia’s Marta Silva Zamora shot her second consecutive, even-par 70 and captured medalist honors by two shots over Furman’s Stefanie Kenoyer. Coastal Carolina’s Aruka Felgueroso and Georgia State’s Cathrine Madsen shared third place while Furman’s Alexa Rancourt was alone in fifth.

The Lady Jags head to Daytona Beach, Fla., this weekend for the Xavier Invitational at LPGA International. The 54-hole event begins on Friday, Oct. 9 and wraps up on Sunday, Oct. 11.
