DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Augusta State turned in a 12-over 300 Sunday in the third and final round of the Xavier Invitational at LPGA International.

The Lady Jaguars finished in fifth place with a 54-hole total of 43-over 907 (299-308-300), just two shots back of tourney host Xavier.

Freshmen Natalie Wille and Jordyn Hage, along with senior Tamara Luccioli, each posted top-20 efforts. Wille closed with a five-over 77 for an 8-over 224 total and tied for ninth, the first top-10 finish of her young career.

Hage and Luccioli shared 17th place at 10-over 226, while senior Sarah Mooney was 39th and sophomore Julie Stalbro tied for 45th.

Daytona State’s Amy West posted back-to-back 70’s in the final two rounds for a 3-under 213 total and a six-shot victory over Xavier’s Rachel Levi. Four players tied for third at 4-over 220.

The Lady Jaguars close out their fall schedule Nov. 2-3 in the Challenge at Onion Creek in Austin, Texas at Onion Creek Gold Club.
