One of four plaques in the museum which appear to have been affixed to the four sides of a small box.

Three phases in the composition show Pilate washing his hands, Christ carrying the cross, and the denial of Peter.  Possibly influenced by an illustration in a manuscript of the Gospels or the Passion.
