Vittore Carpaccio, Detail of St. Vitalis on Horseback and Eight Saints: Upper Section

1514
Church of San Stefano, Venice

St. Andrew is on the left with his cross, long beard, and apostolic-era garb. On the right, the wrapped sword may be an attribute of St. Julian, who is usually portrayed either clean-shaven or with a very short beard.
