Alessandro TurchiThis
image seems to follow the tradition in which the breasts
are seen to be
restored by Peter and in his presence, rather
than after he has vanished and Agatha has said her
prayer of thanksgiving. Another
painting of the same subject, done ten years later
by the same painter, has the old man and the angel in the same pose but puts a full-figured
Agatha in a dress.
