St. Barnabas is depicted at the far left in the lower register of the apse mosaic in St. Paul Outside the Walls (at left).
In a very unusual portrait in Santa Maria sopra Minerva he appears not with the other apostles but with a figure that may represent either the Virgin Mary or the Church or St. Mary Magdalene.
