St. Andrew Altarpiece

Detail: Predella panel 4: The Resurrection (?)

Catalunya, 1420-30, attributed to the Master of Roussillon

The Cloisters, New York City

A plaque on the altarpiece identifies this as the Resurrection, presumably because of the angel. But the drained and bloodied Christ seems more appropriate to an image of the deposition and entombment.
