Miracles in the Life of Christ

Late classical representations of Christ's miracles are often funerary in nature and focus on resurrection themes, but such themes are also favored in non-funerary pieces.  Thus we see much of the raising of Lazarus, Noah (whose flood is a type of baptism), Jonah ("born again" after three days in the great fish), and survivors such as Daniel in the lions' den and the three men in the fiery furnace.
