Saint Pelagius, Martyr - Died in
925
St. Pelagius was martyred at Cordova at the order of its ruler,
Abd ar-Rahman III, at the age of 13. One version of his life
has it that he was dismembered, and thus his attribute is a sword
making a bloody cut into the neck.
