St. Andrew is identified by the inscription to his left: S[AN]C[TU]S ANDREAS.  His scroll reads, BEATVS ANDREAS DV[M] PENDERET IN CRUCE DE PRECABATUR D[OMI]NV[M] IESV[M] C[H]R[I]ST[UM], "Blessed Andrew when he hangs on the cross will pray to the Lord Jesus Christ."
