Saint Zenobius of Florence, Bishop - ca. 334-417

Zenobius was Bishop of Florence for almost 30 years and was famed for a number of miracles he was said to have performed there (see paintings by Botticelli and Gozzoli).  Images show him in episcopal regalia and wearing a white beard, often short and square as at left.
