Psalm 19

David sang þysne nigonteoðan sealm, and sæde on ðæm sealme hu his folc him fore gebæde on his earfoðum. And eac Ezechias folc gebæd for hine þa he wæs beseten mid his feondum on þære byrig. And swa doð ealle Cristene men þe þysne sealm singað; hy hine singað for heora kyningas. And eac þa Apostolas hine sungon be Criste þa hine man lædde to rode.

ITEM CHRISTO EUNTI AD CRUCEM DICIT ECCLESIA

2(1)] Exaudiat te Dominus in die tribulationis; protegat te nomen Dei Iacob. 2] Gehyre ðe Drihten on þæm dæge þinra earfoða. Gefriðie þe se nama Iacobes Godes.
3(2)] Mittat tibi auxilium de sancto, et de Sion tueatur te. 3] And onsende þe fultum of his þam halgan temple, and of Sion gehæle ðe.
4(3)] Memor sit Dominus omnis sacrificii tui, et holocaustum tuum pingue fiat. 4] Gemyndig sy Drihten ealra þinra offrunga, and þin ælmesse sy andfengu.
5(4)] Tribuat tibi Dominus secundum cor tuum, et omne consilium tuum confirmet. 5] Gylde ðe Drihten æfter ðinum willan, and eall ðin geðeaht he getrymie,
6(5)] Letabimur in salutari tuo, et in nomine Domini Dei nostri magnificabimur. 6] Þæt we moton fægnian on ðinre hælo, and on ðæm naman Drihtnes ures Godes we syn gemyclade.
7(6)] Impleat Dominus omnes petitiones tuas. Nunc cognovi quoniam salvum faciat Dominus christum suum, et exaudiet illum de celo sancto suo; in potentatibus salus dextere eius. 7] Gefylle Drihten eall þin gebedu. Nu we ongitað þæt Drihten wile gehælan his þone gesmyredan and ðone gehalgodan, and he hine gehyrð of his þam halgan heofone. Swiðe mihtig is seo hælo his ðære swyðran handa.
8(7)] Hii in curribus et hii in equis; nos autem in nomine Domini Dei nostri magnificabimur. 8] On rynewænum and on horsum ure fynd fægniað and þæs gilpað; we þonne on þæm naman Drihtnes ures Godes us micliað.
9(8)] Ipsi obligati sunt, et cediderunt; nos vero resurreximus, et erecti sumus. 9] Hy synd nu gebundne, and hi afeollon; and we soðlice arison and synt uppahafene.
10(9)] Domine, salvum fac regem, et exaudi nos in die qua invocaverimus te. 10] Drihten, gehæl urne kyning, and gehyr us on ðæm dæge þe we ðe to clypiað.
