Psalm 46

David sang þysne syx and feowertigoþan sealm, and lærde on þam sealme ealle þeoda þæt hy heredon þone God mid him ælcum þæra cræftum þe man God mid herian mihte, þone God þe hine swa arlice gefriðode on eallum his earfoðum and ealle his fynd gebrytte. And eac he witgode be Machabeum, þæt hy sceoldon þæt ylce don þa hy alysde wæron æt elðeodegum folcum. And eac he witgode be ælcum ryhtwisum geswenctum and eft alysdum, and eac be Criste and be Iudeum.

VOX APOSTOLI POSTQUAM ASCENDIT CHRISTUS AD PATREM

2(1)] Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus; iubilate Deo in voce exultationis. 2] Wepað nu and heofað, eall orlegu folc, forþam ure God eow hæfð ofercumen. And eac, ge Israhela, hebbað upp eowre handa, and fægniað and myrgað Gode mid wynsumre stemne.
3(2)] Quoniam Dominus summus, terribilis super omnes deos. 3] Forþam he ys swyþe heah God and swyþe andrysnlic, and swiþe micel cynincg ofer ealle oðre godas.
4(3)] Subiecit populos nobis, et gentes sub pedibus nostris. 4] He us underþeodde ure folc, and orlega þeoda he alede under ure fet.
5(4)] Elegit nobis hereditatem sibi, speciem Iacob quam dilexit. 5] He us geceas him to yrfeweardnesse, and Iacobes cynn þæt he lufode.
6(5)] Ascendit Deus in iubilatione, et Dominus in voce tube. 6] Drihten astah mid wynsume sange, and mid bymena stemne.
7(6)] Psallite Deo nostro, psallite; psallite regi nostro, psallite, 7] Ac singað urum Gode, and heriað hine, singað; singað and heriað urne cyning, singað and heriað hine,
8(7)] Quoniam rex omnis terre Deus; psallite sapienter. 8] Forþam he ys God and cynincg ealre eorðan; singað and heriað hine wislice.
9(8)] Regnabit Dominus super omnes gentes; Deus sedet super sedem sanctam suam. 9] Dryhten rixað ofer eall cynrynu; Drihten sit ofer his ðam halgan setle.
10(9)] Principes populorum convenerunt cum Deo Abraham, quoniam dii fortes terre nimium elevati sunt. 10] Þa ealdormen ealre eorðan becumað to Abrahames Gode, and beoð him underðydde, forþam he oferswiðde þa strangan kynincgas ofer eorðan, þa þe wæron upahæfene swa þas godas.
