Psalm 6

David sang þysne syxtan sealm be his mettrumnesse and be his earfoðum, and eac be þam ege þæs domes on domes dæge. And swa deð ælc þæra þe hine singð. And swa dyde Crist þa he on eorðan wæs; he hine sang be his earfoðum, and eac Ezechias be his untrumnesse.

VOX CHRISTI AD PATREM QUANDO RESURREXIT LAZARUS

2(1)] Domine, ne in ira tua arguas me, neque in furore tuo corripias me. 2] Drihten, ne þrea þu me on þinum yrre, ne on þinre hatheortnesse ne swenc me.
3(2)] Miserere michi, Domine, quoniam infirmus sum. Sana me, Domine, quoniam conturbata sunt omnia ossa mea, 4] et anima mea turbata est valde. 3] Ac miltsa me, Dryhten, forþam ic eom unhal; and gehæl me, forþam eall min mægn and eal min ban synt gebrytt and gedrefed, 4] and min sawl and min mod ys swyðe gedrefed.
(3)] Et tu, Domine, usquequoque? 5] Convertere, et eripe animam meam. Salvum me fac, propter misericordiam tuam. Eala Drihten, hu lange wylt þu þæt hit on ðam sy? 5] Gehwyrf, la, Drihten, to me, and alys mine sawle, and gedo me halne for ðinre mildheortnesse.
6(4)] Quoniam non est in morte qui memor sit tui. In inferno autem quis confitebitur tibi? 6] Forðam þa deadan þe on helle beoð þin ne gemunan, ne ðe andettað, ne ne heriað swa swa we doð.
7(5)] Laboravi in gemitu meo. Lavabo per singulas noctes lectum meum. Lacrimis stratum meum rigabo. 7] Ic swince on minre granunge, and ælce niht on minum bedde ic sice and wepe, and hwilum min bedd wæte mid tearum.
8(6)] Turbatus est pre ira oculus meus. Inveteravi inter omnes inimicos meos. 8] Mine eagan synt gedrefede for yrre, and ic eom forealdod betweoh eallum minum feondum.
9(7)] Discedite a me, omnes qui operamini iniquitatem, quoniam exaudivit Dominus vocem fletus mei. 10] Exaudivit Dominus deprecationem meam. Dominus orationem meam adsumpsit. 9] Gewitað fram me ealle þa þe unriht wyrcað, forðam þe Drihten hyrde mine wependan stefne, 10] and God gehyrde mine healsunge, and Drihten onfeng min gebed.
11(8)] Erubescant et conturbentur omnes inimici mei; avertantur retrorsum, et erubescant valde velociter. 11] Sceamian heora forði, and syn gedrefede ealle mine fynd, and gan hy on earsling, and sceamien heora swiðe hrædlice.
