Christ in the Purple Cloak
Location: fourth bay of the north wall of the nave.
Size: About 5½ feet (165 cm.)
A spike rises from the skull, presumably to hold a halo. There is no halo now. There is a brown pattern on the gold garments. The skin has a high sheen.
Basis for Identification: White wimple and bib, gold mantle and robe, handkerchief between hands.
Location: In a glass case on an altar in the second bay of the north wall of the nave.
Media and construction: Wood, gesso,
paint fabric garments. Eyes: glass,
with painted lashes. Closed mouth.
Size: About 4¼ feet (130 cm.)
