The town of Yanhuitlán was founded by missionaries of the Dominican order in the 16th century. The church is noted for the elaborate retablo of its main altar and the multitude of secondary retablos.
This tour will take us through the church. We have a separate tour for the museum in the former convent, and another tour for the Ayuxi chapel, a satellite of the church.
Our church tour begins in the narthex with a Trinity.
