The Bell Ringer is an award-winning, campus paper published by the Aiken Standard. The newspaper is editorially independent. It is produced by students at Augusta State University with faculty advisement and occasional contributions from faculty, staff and student readers. The Bell Ringer is a designated public forum.
The Bell Ringer is dedicated to bringing news to Augusta State University students, faculty, staff and families. Our sections include news, arts & life, sports and opinion/editorials.
The Bell Ringer is always looking for new writers, photographers, columnists and cartoonists. If you're interested in joining the staff, contact the editor at bellringer@aug.edu. Submit articles or photographs to bellringerproduction@gmail.com. Our paper is published every other week during Spring and Fall semesters.
The Bell Ringer can be found in or near most campus buildings, including Allgood Hall, University Hall, Washington Hall and the Science Building. University Village and the Christenberry Fieldhouse also have news stands. For a map of the Augusta State University campus, go here. |
