POSITION

I advise all students who plan to complete their core courses here at Augusta State and then transfer to Georgia Health Sciences University (formerly the Medical College of Georgia) to complete their bachelor's degree in one of the Allied Health Sciences or Nursing programs. My main responsibility as an academic advisor is to ensure that students are taking the appropriate courses necessary to complete the requirements for GHSU, that they are placing themselves in a competitive position for applying to the program of their choice and that they are familiar with the application procedures required by GHSU. Having worked at MCG as an Assistant Director in the Admissions Office for 4½ years I'm very familiar with their program requirements. It is my hope that through the knowledge I gained while working at MCG I can assist students in reaching their educational and career goals.
