Welcome to BSU.
The
Black Student Union is a student organization at Augusta State
University, dedicated to the promotion of
unity and maintaining of Black identities on the Augusta State
University campus and in the community. Members of BSU
meet every Wednesday in the Hardy Meeting Room on the 2nd
Floor of the JSAC at 12:00 P.M., and committee meetings are scheduled
on Thursday at 2:30 P.M. To gain privileged membership to the
Black Student Union we require a one time payment of $30.00
to cover your dues for the Fall &
Spring semesters, or $20.00
for one semester.
We accomplish our goals by:
- Creating self-awareness
- Being a social organization on and off campus
-
Providing an open forum for the entire ASU community for the expression
and discussion of ideas and issues relative to Black people.
