The goals of the Budget Office are as follows:

• Compliance with the policies and procedures of the Board of Regents
• Prepare an appropriately detailed annual budget to comply with the mission of the institution
• Update annually the Budget Department Web Page explaining the current fiscal year's budget, as well as, other pertinent information pertaining to the budgeting process of the campus
• Distribute to each department head a budget packet outlining the current fiscal year's budget.

Procedures to evaluate goals:

• Prepare the institutional budgets and subsequent budget amendments per Board of Regents guidelines and deadlines
• Create reports used by the institution's administration for budget planning and fiscal control
• Monitor appropriated funds
• Assist colleges in the preparation, justification and evaluation of their annual budget
