In the example below, the employee EARNED three hours of comp time during the first week.  The actual hours worked are listed across the REG row for each day, and then the comp hours are subtracted from that total on the CMP row in the "Totals" column.  Comp hours earned are NOT listed by day - only the total for the week.  The total paid hours for the first week equals 40.

In the second week, the employee USED four hours of comp time for hours not worked on Friday.  The actual hours worked each day are listed across the REG row, and the comp hours taken are listed on the CMP row as a positive number.  The total hours for each Earning Code is carried over to the right and down for a total of 40 paid hours.  The total paid hours for the pay period equals 80.
