Augusta State University Refund Policy
Refund of Tuition & Other Mandatory Student Fees

Full Withdrawal:

To receive a 100% refund of fees, a student must withdraw on or before the first day of the term. First priority of refund of fees will be made to those students whose courses were canceled by action of Augusta State University. When a course is canceled by action of the university, a full refund of fees will be made. All other refunds will be made in a timely manner, but no later than the end of the term.

Adjustment For Outstanding Fees:

The amount of a refund due a student will first be applied to any unpaid fees owed to Augusta State University by the student.

The following percentage refund schedule applies only to those students who fully withdraw from ALL of their classes by the date(s) indicated:

Reduction of Load:

Students who reduce their course loads before the end of the official registration period resulting in a reduction of In-State-Tuition or Out-of-State-Tuition will receive a 100% refund of the reduced fees. Drop/Add is the first two days of each semester.

NO REFUND WILL BE MADE FOR A REDUCTION IN CREDIT HOURS AFTER THE DROP/ADD PERIOD!

Any refund due a student for reduction of load will be for tuition only. Dropped classes will be deleted in order that "W" grades will not appear on the permanent records.
