Leigh Anne is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and moved to Augusta in 2011. Before moving to Augusta, she was the Senior Executive Assistant to the President with Hunt Refining Company, a petroleum refining and marketing company headquartered in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Prior to her position with Hunt Refining Company, Leigh Anne was the Administrative Assistant to the Administrator at DCH Health System-Northport Campus.

In 1995, she completed a two-year certificate program for administrative and office professionals at the University of Alabama.

Leigh Anne is married to J.C. Bowick.
