The ASU Career Center is a great resource in assisting in all aspects of the job search process. After an initial visit, your job search can be conducted 24 hours a day from any location that has Internet access. In addition, the Career Center can provide one on one appointments for other job-search related issues such as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and self-analysis of skills.


Who is eligible to use the Career Center?

  • All currently enrolled students
  • Anyone showing active enrollment in the previous semester
  • Graduates of Augusta State University have 1 year of eligibilty to utilize the services of the Career Center from their date of graduation
  • Fee paid services are available to ASU Alumni and graduates of other institutions

  • ASU CareerLink- job listings posted with the Career Center for Full-time Professional and Non-Professional, Part-time, Internships and Volunteer work
  • A Cooperative Education program designed to complement academic major with paid, work-related experience
  • Computer resume service with laser printing
  • 24-hour resume and cover letter critiquing service
  • Member school in Georgia's Career Opportunities Job Fair in Atlanta
  • Computer Lab with WWW access and laser printers
  • Web access for student resumes through electronic resume book
  • Web-based resume referral services for seniors and alumni seeking full-time employment
  • Part-time job assistance and Web resume book
  • Mock interviews
  • One-on one appointments with Career Development Specialists



How do I access the job and internship listings??

  1. Click on the ASU CareerLink logo located on the bottom of the screen, www.aug.edu/career_center.
  2. When asked, “Where do you want to go?”, click on “For Students/Alumni”.
  3. Login. Username: (Your 927 student ID number), Password: success (You may change your password to a unique code upon login.)
  4. 1st Login: When you first log into ASU CareerLink, you will be prompted to complete your profile. You must complete all required information listed under the following tabs before the system will allow you to search jobs: “Personal Information”, “Academic Information”, and “Privacy”.
  5. To search for jobs and internships, click on the “Jobs” tab located at the top of the screen. Highlight and click “ASU CareerLink Jobs”.
    1. All available jobs and internships will appear on your screen. You can filter your search by “Position Type” (ie. part-time jobs, full-time jobs, internships, co-op, etc.). Simply click on the “Position Type” scroll down bar and highlight your interest.
