Dr. Datta Receives Cottrell Research Award
Dr. Datta has just been awarded a $45,000 Single Investigator Cottrell College Science Award. The Cottrell College Science Awards support high quality research through early career grants to faculty involved in research at primarily undergraduate institutions. The grant money will be utilized to investigate the non-equilibrium properties of classical two dimensional magnetic models. The grant will fund faculty and student summer research stipends, computers, and software for two years. This research project is being carried out in collaboration with Augusta State University Physics Major William Baez and several other undergraduate research collaborators. Congratulations to Dr. Datta!
