ASSIGNMENTS FOR Monday, August 16, 2004

1. Read chapter 1 in text.  Your text is:  Interactions:  Collaboration Skills for School Professionals by Marilyn Friend and Lynne Cook, fourth edition.
2. Complete Activity #6 on page 24 of your text.  Due:  August 16, 2004.  Must be typed and proofread.
3. Go to:  http://www.edweek.org/sreports/qc04 and read/review and be prepared to discuss each of the following three articles from the feature stories - A Special Case - as follows:  "Not Separate, but Equal", "Tandem Teaching", and "Supplemental Success"
4. You will be asked to complete a collaborative project in your class for fall, 2004.  Be thinking of a collaborative partner.  Guidelines for the project will be distributed on August 12 2004 at a MANDATORY MEETING (4:30pm in University Hall, Room 326).
