Upon meeting the prerequisites for admission into the COBA, students will select one of the following majors: Accounting, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, or Marketing. The Undergraduate Advising Office in the James M. Hull College of Business will provide advising services to pre-business majors as well as to those in the specific business majors.

The prerequisites for entry into the James M. Hull College of Business are as follows:

The Augusta State University Bachelor of Business Administration program is accredited by AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree program stresses the liberal arts education and career related skills that future business leaders need. We know that successful managers need "people skills" as well as the ability to analyze business problems.

Success in business also requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of today's economic environment, intellectual flexibility, and the ability to work successfully with people. Our program will provide you with the skills that leading employers seek in the up-and-coming professionals they employ.

A degree in Business Administration can be earned in day or evening classes on a full-time or part-time basis (please note that some of the upper division accounting elective courses may be offered only as evening classes).

A preparatory core curriculum is required of all Augusta State University students during the freshman and sophomore years.

The curriculum provides a sound foundation in business concepts and skills through the Junior/Senior Common Curriculum.

The curriculum is flexible enough to allow you to pursue your individual goals and interests.

Our curriculum gives you the opportunity to acquire the technological and computer skills that employers seek.

Graduation with a B.B.A. degree ensures that you are professionally competent and prepared to begin a rewarding professional career in Accounting, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems or Marketing.
