INSTRUCTIONS FOR MBA APPLICANTS 

Complete the application (PDF document) taking care that all questions are answered. Incomplete applications will delay your admission. Attach a check or money order for the $30 application fee payable to Augusta State University. The application, necessary transcripts from regionally accredited schools and related material should be received by the MBA Office at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester in which the applicant plans to enter.

You will be notified of a decision by mail. Please contact the MBA Office if you have any address change.

A Graduate Applicant must submit the following:
 

  1. A formal application and $30 application fee. The application fee is not refundable.

  2.  
  3. An official transcript from EACH regionally accredited school and university attended regardless of whether the referenced course work was transferred and appears on a subsequent transcript. All the transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing agency to the MBA Office, Hull College of Business, Augusta State University, 2500 Walton Way, Augusta, Georgia 30904-2200.

  4.  
  5. An official test score report on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The submitted scores must not be more than five years old. The applicant's copy of the score report or a test score entry on a college transcript is not an acceptable score report.

  6.  
  7. International applicants whose native language is other than English must submit an official score report for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). All foreign students must submit a financial responsibility statement.

  8.  
  9. No person shall be eligible for classification as an in-state student unless he or she has resided in Georgia continuously for a minimum of 12 months immediately preceding the date of registration.  In accordance with the Board of Regents' policy for the University System of Georgia, however, for fee purposes, the following applicants are eligible to attend Augusta State University as residents of the State of Georgia:

    • All full-time employees of the University System of Georgia, their spouses and dependents;
    • All Georgia public school teachers and their dependent children;
    • All active duty military personnel stationed in Georgia and their dependents; and
    • All residents of Aiken and Edgefield Counties, South Carolina. 
Applicants who are eligible should contact the MBA Office to obtain a fee waiver form.
