Program of StudyThere are 12 courses in the MBA curriculum that include two electives. The MBA curriculum requirements consist of courses in human resources management, marketing, finance, accounting, economics, production management, ethics, management information systems, business research methods, and an integrating course in strategic management. Electives in the various business disciplines are offered throughout the year.There are six MBA prerequisite courses designed for students who may not have an undergraduate degree in business administration. Students who have varying amounts of previous academic work in business may have the requirements waived for selected prerequisite courses, depending upon when these equivalent courses were taken and the grades received. Basic computing skills in using word processing and spreadsheet software are required of all entering MBA students. Courses in this area may be taken on campus, if needed. Currently, graduate courses are scheduled during evening hours. Starting Fall Semester 2007, many classes will meet one night a week and others will be offered in executive format.
