Do you love films? Are you excited about promotions? What about writing a poem or play or news article? Interested in learning to produce a radio show or shoot a documentary? How about acting? Enjoy debate and public speaking?

All of these are possible through coursework in the Department of Communications and Professional Writing.

We have six concentrations: Communication Studies, Drama, Journalism, Professional Writing, Public Relations and Television and Cinema.

Extracurriculars include the Monday Night Film Series, Public Relations Club, Sandhills Writers Conference, the Bell Ringer newspaper and an annual fall play, amongst others.
