Students completing 6th
grade by 6/2013 may participate in both KU K -6 and the Teen Edition.
The rising 7th grader may choose either K-6 or Teen Edition
morning camps. To spend the full day, the 7th grader
must participate in the Teen edition PM camp.

My Cool House Design! AM
Design your dream room and house and learn the
basics of computer drawing and architectural design.
Physics Fun. PM.
From the physics of rollercoasters to baseball, exciting explorations in
everyday physics.
Manga and Anime. AM
Strengthen fine art and design basics needed for
the sequential art forms in comics and storyboards. Instructor is local
artist, Xavier Jones.
Rocketry. PM
Build your own rocket (not from a kit!), launch
it and learn the principles of aeronautical engineering.
Photography and Photoshop. AM
Using digital cameras (provided) learn camera
basics and how to compose a photo. Enjoy unique photographic assignments and
practice editing your photos in the lab.
Cool Drawings with Pen and Ink. AM
Using pen and ink and other media, work on
detailed projects and learn color, line, structure, value and depth, cross
hatching and faces. Instructor is local artist, Xavier Jones.
Mini-Med School: Science Basics. AM
Conduct research and experiments in the basic
health sciences relevant to your personal health. Discover how your body
really works!
Mini-Med School: Xplorations. PM
Summerville and health science campus
explorations to simulation labs, research labs, and interactions with local
scientists and medical entrepreneurs.
