How to access Georgia Career Information System

on the Web

 

Augusta State University is a current licensed user of the Georgia Career Information System (GCIS) which gives you the option of accessing the program on the Web through your computer’s Internet connection.

GCIS on the Web gives you the flexibility to access GCIS from all computers with an Internet connection. In addition, accessing GCIS from the Counseling and Testing Center is available using a Windows version of the program that provides additional features such as the use of career videos and the Georgia Easy program.

 

STEP 1 OBTAIN THE USER ID & PASSWORD

You will need to contact the Counseling and Testing Center during regular office hours to obtain the current year’s user ID and password. We apologize for this inconvenience but must insist in order for our Center to be able to keep a count of how many students use GCIS. After learning the user ID and password, you may use it repeatedly until the next calendar year when the information will change.

Office Hours:

Mondays & Tuesdays 8:00am - 6:00pm (when Fall & Spring Semester classes are in session)

Wednesday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

STEP 3 RUN GCIS

Click on the button "Run GCIS" and then choose the information and exercises you prefer. Supply the current user ID and password when necessary.
