Please complete the Request for Moving Services form 2 - 6 weeks (earlier is better) prior to your estimated campus move. Intra-departmental moves require the authorization of the appropriate Chair/Director/Manager. Inter-departmental moves require the approval of three Vice Presidents on the FAST Team. Once the form is signed and submitted, a member of the Central Services team will contact you to determine if the move can be completed by Central Services or will need to be contracted out to a local moving service. Generally, small moves that are to the same floor or near an accessible elevator, and require less than 8 man hours to complete will be handled by Central Services. Entire office moves, large items, items that weigh greater than 250lbs, or those moves that will be to another floor are generally contracted out to a local moving service. The costs associated with large moves are invoiced to the department requesting the move.

Be sure to complete an Equipment Transfer Request (This form is accessed through Pipeline) for any University assets that will be relocated. You may contact your departmental Inventory Custodian for a list of assets, or they may be identified by the "Property of ASU" tag.
