Teacher Leader Cohort

Applications for the Master of Education in Teacher Leadership are due July 2. The criteria for admission include

  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the Baccalaureate level.
  • Clear, renewable certification (a copy of the certification must be provided.)
  • A record clear free of criminal and disciplinary problems.
  • Letter of recommendation from current building or district administrator.

Teacher Leadership is an advanced program intended for classroom teachers who seek greater responsibility and influence beyond their individual classroom. The coursework and experiences embedded into the program of study prepare practicing teachers to remain in the classroom while engaging with peers, the community, and other educational professionals as leaders.

Online programs and courses require daily access to a computer equipped with Internet access and current versions Flash Player and Java.
