Counselor Education - M.Ed., Licensure & Certification

The Counselor Education program at Augusta State University contains two tracks:  Community Counseling and School Counseling.

School Counseling Track

For those wishing to work in a school setting

  • 48 semester hours of academic work
  • Intensive internship in a public school setting
  • Completion of a professional portfolio
  • Following successful completion of Praxis II examination receive certification in the state of Georgia.
