SIP workshops

The Supplemental Instruction Program's group workshops are led by experienced College Composition instructors in the Department of English and Foreign Languages. Some workshops also involve tutors from the Writing Center.

Please note that students do not need to be referred in order to attend a SIP workshop. However, instructors are encouraged to submit a referral form, if possible, so that SIP instructors and staff can stay in contact with the student both before and after the workshop. We have found that students are more likely to use our services—often more than once—when we maintain contact with them.
