Scholarships

Scholarships may be based on merit, need, talent, or a combination of factors and they do not require repayment. ASU offers scholarships related to all of these categories. The talent scholarships encompass areas such as athletic ability, musical ability and artistic ability among other areas. If you feel you possess a talent in one of these categories, you should contact the appropriate ASU department. In addition, scholarships based on academics, major and/or financial need are available.

For more information about Augusta State University scholarships, please view our brochure.

For scholarship consideration, including renewal and new applicants, the ASU Electronic Academic Scholarship Application must be completed. The application deadline is March 1st for each upcoming academic year. The ASU Electronic Academic Scholarship Application is accessible through your MyASU account and is usually available after January 1st. After completing your application, you may electronically submit it to the ASU Financial Aid Office via ELROY. In some instances, you must contact the appropriate ASU department for scholarships related to a particular major. The ASU Financial Aid Scholarship Brochure is available online via the Financial Aid website and contains detailed information on each scholarship, and other important financial aid information. In addition, scholarships offered from outside organizations are included in the brochure. A student's financial aid package can contain a combination of awards, so continue to search for additional opportunities even if you secure a scholarship!
