Private Lesson Cancellation: A notice of 24 hours to the teacher is required for an excused absence. If a lesson is cancelled later than that time, the teacher has the option of counting it as a lesson taken.

Refunds: There are no refunds for classes or ensembles after the first day of the term unless the class or ensemble has been cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, or the ensemble director determines that the student has been inappropriately placed in an ensemble. Private lesson students are expected to commit to their lessons for the duration of the term. Refunds of private lesson tuition are made only in the case of debilitating illness or irreconciliable differences with the teacher. Any refunds for private lessons will be for tuition of remaining lessons minus $6.00.

Tuition:

Tuition for lessons with Master Teachers is $40 per hour ($20 per half-hour lesson).

Tuition for lessons with Instructors is $30 per hour ($15 per half-hour lesson).

Students may register for any number of lessons between 6 and 16 (an entire semester) after consulting with their teacher, There is an additional $3 administrative fee for registrations of fewer than 6 lessons at a time.
