We are looking for more players! Bring your spirit, fun, and dedication with you!
In March 2005, we placed first at the Peach Belt Conference Pep Band Competition
and were featured in the Augusta Chronicle and News Channel 12.
In March 2004, we placed second at the Peach Belt Conference Pep Band Competition.
We also traveled to North Carolina and Missouri to accompany the ASU Women's
Basketball team at the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship.
Purpose: to provide energetic and spirited music to the ASU Men's and
Women's Basketball teams.
Prerequisites: instrumental musicians with past musical experience,
no audition is necessary.

Class Credit:
For those taking Pep Band as class credit (1 hour credit): MUSI 1000A. Grades
will be determined largely on attendance and punctuality. You'll have a maximum
of two excused absences to receive an "A." There will be penalties
for tardiness (beginning and during the game) and failure to notify Dr. House
of your absence/tardiness in a responsible manner. Further specifics will
be stated in a syllabus at the beginning of the Spring 2006 semester.
Tuition Stipend:
There will be a $125 tuition stipend to the first 20 students making a commitment
to the entire Pep Band season through signature on the contract (see Dr. House).
Checks will be issued following the Peach Belt Tournament games (mid-March).
