Welcome New Students!
UV Connections offers three unique living-learning communities: Freshmen Connections, Sophomore Connections, and University College Connections. Each program is inspired by effective student development models, and graduates of the program have demonstrated successful academic careers. The connections program puts you in touch with faculty, staff, and peer mentors who have a wealth of knowledge and they're willing to share it all with you, which allows you build and maintain a strong foundation for your future college success.
Students who participate in Freshmen Connections, Sophomore Connections, or University College Connections live in Augusta State's premier student housing, University Village. The gated community offers spacious, fully furnished apartments with amenities that rival private, luxury-style apartments. An on-site computer lab, as well as Internet connections in all bedrooms, provide access to the web for studies, after which students may relax in the game room or by the pool. Residence Life staff provide social as well as academic activities that enrich the overall student experiences.

• Pre-Register to take classes with your cohort;
• Have an instant support network with assigned advisors;
• Develop academic skills and participate in unique social opportunities.
• Free shuttle service between ASU's two campuses and UV;
• Tutoring on-site by peers and ASU faculty and staff;
• Use of a 24/7 computer lab on site at UV;
• Wireless Internet connections in all bedrooms and main living areas;
• On-site residence life staff to assist students in adjusting to college life.
